Loch Ness is the second largest Scottish
loch by surface area, but due to its great depth, it is the largest by volume.
Its deepest point is 755 ft making it the second deepest loch in Scotland after
Loch Morar. It contains more fresh water than all the lakes in England and
Wales combined, and is the largest body of water on the Great Glen Fault, which
runs from Inverness in the north to Fort William in the south. And the most
famous story about here is of course the “Nessie”. For me, I think that no
matter what, people would still eager to find out whether it’s real or not. And
it won’t be a bad thing to have the story like this. Cause the things we know
about this planet might be the surface.

Yorkshire-York Minster
York is a historical city. The King George VI even said "the history of York is the history of England."
York Minster is also the biggest Gothic minster in the Europe.
During my trip to the U.K,I visited lots of church, minster and cathedral.Although I don't have the religion about this,I still enjoy seeing the delicate statues, decorations and stained glass.Especially the stained glass. When the sunshine through the glass, the refraction is really stunning.
You can also walk to the top of the minster to see the magnificent view of York.
London-Sherlock Holmes Museum
Do you know who is the most famous detective in the world? For me,the answer must be Sherlock Holmes, the character which created by Arthur Conan Doyle.
I enjoy the novels,movies,films,comics...all the things about this greatest detective. And I don't know the reason, actually. But I just know that I really love this character. So when I came to London,I must visited here--the Baker Street,221B.
Here is the Sherlock Holmes Museum. It's interesting that if you ask the people standing in front of the museum"Would you please tell me that where is Mr.Holmes and Dr.Watson?" then he would answer"Sorry,my sweet lady,Mr.Holmes and Dr. Watson is dealing with some cases. But don't worry. They will finish the cases as soon as possible."
All the decorative items in the house just like the description in the books.
The places where Sherlock contemplate most of the time.
And sometimes,Sherlock would play the violin to help him thinking.
Then,I suggest everyone to watch the film"BBC Sherlock Holmes".It's a different way to interpret this famous detective.I like it a lot. |
